k-pax (the movie)?
March 22010
1. describe specific symptoms and/or behaviors that indicate Prot is suffering a mental disorder
2. describe the therapeutic approaches being used by the psychologist to treat Prot.
3. what seem to be the most effective therapeutic techniques?
4. why does the psychologist begin to doubt Prot suffers a mental disorder?
5. what is the message in the film about the distinction between reality and fiction?
This is a wonderful question, and I am way too ignorant to answer it. I love it though. I love the idea of using K-Pax as a study of this nature. It was a great movie, and does give the viewer lots of interesting theories to explore. E-mail me with your own theories and ideas. I’d love to hear them.
