The Jesus Christ Security Foundation was formed to fight the menace and effects of social exclusion. The purpose of the Foundation is, among others, the re-socialization of homeless individuals who have addictions not only to psychoactive drugs, but also to behaviors and people.

The method used by the Foundation is comprehensive in character. The entire process of re-adaptation consists of successive steps such as: motivation for treatment and healing, counselling and therapeutic interaction as well as on-going assistance and strengthening of those re-socialization effects that have been achieved.

Separate institutions which form The Jesus Christ Security Foundation are called upon to realize these goals. They may be considered as elements of the Foundations counseling system. The Foundation bases its work on the voluntary payment of room and board. The Foundation already has several branches in Poland; in Boguszowie- Gorcach, Cieszynie, Krotoszynie, Jarocinie, Kamiennej Górze, Świebodzicach, Wałbrzychu, Stargardzie Szczecińskim, Strzelinie and Wierzchowicach. The Foundation works together with local town and city councils to realize the goal of co-operation and action against social exclusion. We want to create respectable and dignified conditions for those under our care in which they may be able to obtain not just physical help but first and foremost psychological and therapeutic help.

We want to provide help to those in need. We do not want to passively watch the progressive impoverishment and degeneration of our local society. We want to create a real home for those under our care so that they may know they are needed in society and that they can function normally in it. Todays reality is that almost every Polish family is touched by addiction, co-dependency, unemployment and even homelessness.

The people under our care are individuals with various kinds of problems and do not have any income. Because of this we try to find resources to support them. We ask for help which can allow us to broaden our ministry and at the same time limit the progressive impoverishment of that part of society touched by unemployment and the inability to adjust in society. On behalf of those in our care and in the name of our Foundation we are extremely thankful for all help we receive.

SpiritHorse Therapeutic provides free therapeutic horseback riding services to over 450 children and adults from ten counties in the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex each week at our facilities in Corinth, just north of Dallas, Texas. We currently serve more children than any center in the world. We are unique in that SpiritHorse is the only large center in America that provides all private therapeutic horseback riding services free of charge in our six programs: Disabilities, Children who are Victims of Abuse/Violence, At-Risk-Youth, Battered Women, and Youth After-Drug Rehab. Our mission is, “To Assist Each Child with Special Needs in Reaching Their Full Potential through Interaction with Horses”.

We also have as a mission: “A kind, rewarding home for older show horses and ponies, loving care, and proper burial on our ranch when they pass on.”

More than 700 centers in the United States provide recreational therapy, typically in group lessons. A much smaller number provide hippotherapy which is provided by occupational or physical therapists using the horse as a modality. A small number provide equine facilitated mental health, using the horse to foster relationship building and problem solving.

SpiritHorse provides what it terms equine-assisted healthcare, which is has a different goal than that of recreational therapy. It includes, for example, eleven specific methods provided in a one-on-one setting for intervening with its 165 children who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. We have developed an instructor as our autism specialist, following the lead of the mainstream medical community who substantially advanced the state-of-the-art in medicine when they developed pediatricians, oncologists, orthopedists, neurologists, and other specialists.

You’ve seen my other ATM2 Videos showing how well the ATM2 treats
pain. Sometimes the ATM2 might not be enough by itself. The following
patient is exhibiting an apparent obstruction to full end-range
movement of his low back into extension (backward bending). The ATM2 helped eliminate pain, however, end-range movements into backward bending would reproduce his pain again. I initially tried to help the patient restore full backward bending range of motion without using the ATM2, however, he was too irritable. However, after the ATM2 reduced his overall pain, I was then able to apply McKenzie and Mulligan procedures to enable the patient to fully extend his low back without pain or obstruction.
